On the 1 June 2011 it became compulsory for all small vessel owners to complete the following document checklists prior to each annual survey and the issue of the Small Vessel Safety Certificate

Category R – Lagoons Rivers Estuaries and Dams

Category E – ( 1 ) One Nautical Mile Offshore

Category D – (5) Five Nautical Mile Offshore

Category C – (15) Fifteen Nautical Mile Offshore

Category B – (40) Forty Nautical Mile Offshore

 

Please also note that if you are selling a previously registered or surveyed vessel , you must complete this change of ownership form and supply it as the boat will be required to be re-surveyed.

If you are re-furbishing registering a vessel , the attached buoyancy/flotation certificate can be used. This is the SAMSA prescribed format.
